Cloud Pulse Point

Studies

Four ways to look at a note that has not yet arrived.

Each engagement is a piece of human-delivered study work for people who make note-taking apps. We write reports and sit in readouts. We do not host your sync, store note bodies, or take over the product calendar.

Cloud Sync Usage Study

A three-to-five-week study of how people actually move notes between a phone, a laptop, and whatever they still keep on paper when they do not trust the second copy.

Eight to twelve sessions, a written findings report, and a readout with the people who ship the notebook.

Release-cycle usage brief

A shorter look at what changed in sync behaviour after a particular version: who waited longer, who stopped retrying, and which notebooks people quietly stopped sharing.

Two weeks, six sessions, and a brief you can put in front of the next release conversation.

Onboarding and sync language review

A close reading of the words and waiting states people see while a note is travelling: last saved, still uploading, conflict, and the sentences that make someone open a paper pad instead.

Annotated screenshots, rewritten fragments, and a working session with whoever owns those strings.

Conflict and merge observation

Sitting with people when two versions of the same note exist, and recording what they keep, discard, or paste into a third place so nothing is lost.

Four to six observed conflict moments, plus a map of the workarounds people already use.
